Common questions

Why is it free for individual teachers?: Because good teaching shouldn’t require a budget. Free covers the core loop — pick a poem, build a lesson, share the URL. Pro adds the parts that demand more compute on our end (the teacher edition’s longer AI generations, the prep podcast) and the parts that scale across many lessons (classes, analytics).
What happens to my lessons if I cancel?: They keep working forever. Every shareable URL carries its own state — your students can still open it after you cancel. You’d lose access to Pro features like the teacher edition and analytics; the lessons themselves and their share URLs don’t expire.
Do you charge per student?: No. Students never need accounts, are never tracked individually, and don’t count against any quota. Pricing is per teacher. School / District plans are per school, not per student either.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?: Anytime, from your billing page. We prorate the change to the current period.
Do you offer educational discounts beyond what’s listed?: School and district licensing is the right path for site-wide pricing. Reach out and we’ll work out a fit for your size and renewal timing.
